What happens after I’ve signed my building contracts?

Well for starters, when you sign your new home building contract congratulations are in order. Because, with that signature, your home is officially all yours. From here, we’ll countersign your contract and upload a copy to your TM dashboard for safekeeping. This is a remarkable milestone (reading the whole thing is an Everest in itself), so take some time to really see this for what it is – memorable.

Not surprisingly, we’re not the only ones who find paperwork milestones memorable, your broker does too. So, we’ll send them a copy too and get additional copies off to everyone else who needs to add their seal of approval, including your developer, Engineer, energy assessor, building surveyor, local shire, and The Water Corp. This can take anywhere between 8-12 weeks so sit tight.

While we ensure this process runs smoothly behind the scenes, it’s over to you to begin the serious house planning. This all happens on your TM dashboard, so we recommend logging in to your personalised portal and prepping your online selections. Almost every option is there for you to see and cost, including your paint, flooring, tiling, window covering, and tapware selections.

Your customer experience specialist will also be in touch to organise an e-design consult with interior designer to the stars, Soph (from Sourced Styling Studio). And, once this and your preselection’s at Crosby Tiles and Trevor’s Carpets are #done, they’ll also organise your personalised prestart…i.e. the one where you lock everything in.
