If you’re building on a narrower block, you’ll likely need a boundary wall (which adjoins your property to the neighbour’s property) to maximise the internal space of your home.
A boundary wall is built one brick course higher than the external walls and runs from the garage to within one meter of the adjoining lot, and contains a fire flashing to reduce the chance of fire spreading from or to your neighbour’s home. Important.
