Another downside for those poor souls living in coastal properties… You may have to take a
break from beach sunbathing and regularly wash your external steelwork to remove salt
buildup (say, every three months). For other properties, you’ll still need to wash your T bars,
posts, and lintels to remove other airborne contaminants – salt’s just usually the most
corrosive.
