Tiling floors (Post Construction)

Expanding or updating your house is a homeowner’s right (within reason), and it’s natural that
your tastes will change over time – but when you tile floors after the initial construction, they
still have to meet some requirements. You’ll have to work in line with relevant Australian
standards, and our builder recommends you use expansion joints, flexible adhesives and
grouts, and a screed before laying. Obviously, if any tiles you’ve laid get cracked, they won’t
be covered by our warranty program.
