Promotion Name: “12-Month Build Time Guarantee – WA”

Promoter/Builder: La Vida Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 36 645 789 993), trading as La Vida Homes WA (BC 103744), of 142 Hasler Road, Osborne Park, WA 6017.

Guarantee Overview:

To qualify for the 12-Month Build Time Guarantee, all the following conditions must be met :

  • The build duration is measured from slab down to Practical Completion Inspection (PCI).
  • The home must be one of La Vida Homes’ standard single storey designs.
  • Selections must be of a standard nature.
  • The site must be a street-facing block in a Greenfield Estate within the Perth metropolitan area, from:
    • Two Rocks (North) to
    • Armadale (East) to
    • Mandurah (South)
  • The block must not:
    • Be a Brownfield, subdivision, battle axe, or strata lot.
    • Require retaining walls.
  • The block must have all services installed and commissioned.  
  • All progress claims must be paid on time, in accordance with the MBA contract terms.
  • All client obligations under the contract must be fulfilled.

Guarantee Commitment:

If the above conditions are met, La Vida Homes WA guarantees to complete construction and hand over the home within 365 days (12 months) from slab down to PCI.

Extensions of Time:

La Vida Homes reserves the right to extend the build period in accordance with MBA WA Home Building Works Contract – Section 19 (a), (b), (c).

Delays may include (but are not limited to):

  • Inclement weather.
  • Shortages in critical path building materials.
  • Vandalism or damage beyond builder control.
  • Construction shutdowns due to pandemic events.
  • Delays by service providers (Western Power, Atco, Water Corp, NBN).
  • Christmas shutdown period.
  • Other unforeseen events beyond builder control.


Compensation Terms:

If La Vida Homes WA fails to complete the build within the guaranteed period (excluding approved extensions), the client will receive $650 per week for each week overdue, up to a maximum of 8 weeks. Payments will be made to the client’s nominated bank account.

Additional Conditions:

  • This promotional offer is ongoing and may be varied or withdrawn at any time prior to PPA signing.
  • La Vida Homes may vary or withdraw this promotional offer at any time prior to PPA signing. For clients who have already signed a PPA or building contract, the 12-Month Build Time Guarantee will remain as originally agreed at the time of signing.
  • Compensation is void if:
    • The client breaches any clause of the signed MBA contract.
    • Progress payments are not made in accordance with the contract terms.
