We’ve got no intention of putting you through some long, drawn-out prestart process. We want this whole experience to be memorable (for all the right reasons), so we’ve made three personalised experiences to guide you through this remarkable stage. Because it should be savoured.
Here’s how we savour each step:
- Part one — get the look with an e-interior design meeting
- Part two — explore your pre-selection options at our premium supplier showroom and on your building portal, TM
- Part three — lock in your unique selections at your final prestart meeting
Prestart meeting part one: e-interior designing
For this step, we bring in some serious star power! A meeting with the fabulous Lulu from Aesthete Collective. For those who don’t know (or haven’t caught up on the latest ep of The Block) Lulu is an interior designer to the stars and has appeared in big-name publications like Adore Homes Magazine, My Domain, Gourmet Traveller, and Sheridan, just to drop a few. She lends her expertise (for free) so you can make your mark on a seriously stylish home.
Join her for a 45-minute e-design meeting whenever you’ve got free time, and together you can explore:
- The style of your home
- Pre-selections in your building portal
- Finish up your home’s exterior selection (using the 3D render on your portal for reference)
- Run through all your exterior design questions
The only thing left to do is pick an e-consultation meeting time that works best for you and voila, you’ll be one step closer to making your new home seriously remarkable!
Prestart meeting part two: prestart pre-selections
When you land at this stage in the prestart meeting process, we guarantee you’ll be feeling the glow of inspiration that only comes from time with Lulu! And to continue on this remarkable trajectory … your personalised portal is ready!
Login to TM and lock in all the good stuff like colour palettes, modern finishes, and all the selections that will make your home feel like a true reflection of your life and style. Next up, visit our premium partner showrooms so you can see and feel the texture of your fave selections. We’re crazy about these two in particular:
Crosby Tiles
Bathroom, floor, and splashback tiles. You’ll peruse over 500 styles—you’ll even get excited about grouts and adhesive (trust us). There are also Laminex/Polytec cabinetry and benchtop selections to choose. It’ll be a big day, bring snacks.

Prestart meeting part three: let’s meet in person
It’s time. Join your customer experience specialist (aka the one who guides prestart like a pro) at La Vida Homes HQ. Together you’ll review samples, make changes, and lock in selections as you go. You’ll cover everything from colours and flooring to electrical and fittings. Things are seriously taking shape now!
With everything locked in, we finalise the prestart costing, bring on the draftee and get the drawings done too!
