We’ve got no intention of putting you through some long, drawn-out prestart process. This is one of the most exciting parts of building your home, and we want it to be memorable for all the right reasons.
So, we’ve kept things simple with an easy two-step prestart journey that gives you plenty of time to explore, get inspired and lock in the details that’ll make your home feel unmistakably yours.
Because this stage deserves to be savoured.
Here’s how we savour each step:
- Part one – explore: Browse your pre-selection options in your personalised building portal, TM, then visit our premium supplier showrooms to see, touch and compare your favourites.
- Part two – lock it in: Meet with your Customer Experience Specialist at La Vida Homes HQ to review, refine and finalise your selections.
Part one: explore your pre-selections
This is where the inspiration kicks in. First things first, make sure your personalised portal is ready to go.
Login to TM and lock in all the good stuff like colour palettes, modern finishes, and all the selections that will make your home feel like a true reflection of your life and style.
Next up, visit our premium partner showrooms so you can see and feel the texture of your fave selections. We’re crazy about these two in particular:
Crosby Tiles
Bathroom, floor, and splashback tiles. You’ll peruse over 500 styles – you’ll even get excited about grouts and adhesive (trust us). There are also Laminex/Polytec cabinetry and benchtop selections to choose. It’ll be a big day, bring snacks.

Part two: let’s meet in person
It’s time. Join your customer experience specialist (aka the one who guides prestart like a pro) at La Vida Homes HQ.
Together you’ll review samples, make changes, and lock in selections as you go. You’ll cover everything from colours and flooring to electrical and fittings. Things are seriously taking shape now! With everything locked in, we finalise the prestart costing, bring on the draftee and get the drawings done too!
