A turnkey home means everything you need to move straight in—like floor coverings, blinds, and internal painting—is already included. No extra running around, no last-minute surprises, just a home that’s ready when you are.

It’s always a good idea to budget a little extra for things that can be tricky to predict upfront. This includes site works and other factors like bushfire ratings, soil conditions, or coastal influences—each of which can vary depending on your location, sometimes even from one street to the next.
If you’re unsure, your New Homes Consultant is the best person to talk to. They’ll help you understand any potential extra costs, and if they don’t have the answer right away, they’ll make sure to find it for you.
We don’t, and here’s why: we believe in doing one thing really well, rather than spreading ourselves too thin. Our focus is on creating exceptional single-storey homes.
All of our single-storey designs are available in your choice of construction method—brick veneer, double brick, or fully framed—all at no extra cost. We think you should have the freedom to choose the method that suits your needs and style, not the other way around.
Good news—we don’t charge for the time, expertise, or effort that goes into our New Home Consultations or custom designs. We believe these are essential parts of the process, and without them, you’d be heading into the journey blind. That’s just not how we do things.
The only exception is that any custom floorplans we create are copyrighted to La Vida Homes, meaning they can’t be taken and built by another builder. But honestly, that seems pretty fair, right?
