The building industry didn’t so much call Shane as show up on his doorstep and beg for him. He was quietly buying and renovating homes of his own when a neighbour asked him to help finish their reno too after their builder went bust. He soon completed that and was recommended to a friend. And then another. And then another, and another. 18 years later and this ex-copper turned construction veteran has managed builds on homes ranging from 1 to $15 million, worked across SA, QLD and Victoria, and ran his own boutique building and renovation company.
