Murray Bridge, named very practically after the Murray Bridge that crosses the Murray River it sits upon, has to be one of the best bases to call home in South Australia.
It’s an easy hour southeast of Adelaide opening up everything the city has to offer, while offering up SO much of its own, you’ll find that’s the least of its charm.
There’s the bustling town centre full of cafes, restaurants, shops, galleries and theatre. There’s Monarto Safari Park, the largest safari park outside of Africa (really!). And at the centre of it all, the river—never seen without a fishing rod, cruiser, wakeboarder, waterskiier, or hiker on it (or in it).
It’s also home to one of the biggest hospitals in the state, stellar community facilities, three high schools, six primary schools and numerous preschools. The perfect spot for a growing or future family.
